I hate leaving the skewer in a burger but I feel like I have no choice because otherwise this happens

First panel reminds me of all the burger commercials. The side facing her must just look like 2 buns cus all the stuff’s over here.

I blame lettuce. It almost never adds anything to the experience, and when combined with ketchup, mayo, etc it creates a smooth surface to make the other fillings shoot out when you bite into it.

Lettuce done right gives a good and satisfying crunch though!

IME that’s the exception rather than the rule, and usually it’s just tasteless limp water 😔

i raise you shredded cabbage

although shredded lettuce sounds pretty good too.

Shredduce is the tits, and brings some really nice texture to the table when super fresh

You take that back! Leaf lettuce is based and not enough places use it ヽ( `д´*)ノ

I love lettuce and cabbage in salad!

Holdin them buns too softly…

See this is what I said on that femcels post: I hold those buns firm so I get all that juicy goodness all up in my face ✋😌👌

im like the burgr

It’s okay if you fall apart sometimes. Tacos fall apart and we still love them

i'd say burgers should be wider, not higher

but then they'd have a lower filling to bread ration and i don't like that.

Also the idea is that each bite should have all the ingredients, so the limiting factor really just is "how many different things can we fit into an open mouth's height?" Which makes it harder. I am for using thinner, higher-quality patties as a solution, but people wouldn't like that as much as a solution.

as long as it's juicy, i'm ok with it. sadly too many people think fat = bad

Years of marketing and lobbying from the sugar industry will do that to ya.

I actually want less juice, it'd stain clothes too easily.

Tomatoes exist to fall off sandwiches

I put more force on the grip at the back, seems to help.

Bigger should be wider, never taller!

Yes, that's what happens when they make the buns too hard. Almost always a problem with bagels as well.

Thanks op for a great laugh in the middle of my snooze. You win today!

The trick is to hold the buns horizontal while biting, burgers never fall over ever since.
